A-to-Z Blogging Challenge 2022 Reflections

Another April has come and gone.  Another A-to-Z Blogging Challenge completed!

I enjoy re-visiting the events of previous years for my theme.  I started doing this last year and continued this year.  I might even do it next year too.

My most-visited post this month was

D - Derek Chauvin found guilty of murder

I wrote four letters for the Operation Awesome blog, which featured "Fiction to Film" this year.

K - How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss [the K is for Boris Karloff who voiced the Grinch]

V - One for the Money by Janet EVanoVich

X - Murder on the Orient EXpress by Agatha Christie

Y - The Martian by AndY Weir

I write for the Operation Awesome blog most Mondays.  Come by and visit!

Every year for the A-to-Z Blogging Challenge, I intend to pre-write my posts so I can spend time visiting other blogs, and every year I fail miserably! But I'll set the same goal for 2023 - pre-write my posts and spend more time visiting other blogs.  Wish me luck!

Did you participate in the Challenge this year?  Post your site in the comments and I'll visit you!

  1. You had some really interesting posts, Dena. I appreciate you adding the recap of your Operation Awesome posts because I hadn't seen them. I agree with you 100% on David Suchet as Hercule. We recently watched Death on the Nile with Branagh and no way is he Poirot. I haven't seen Murder on the Orient Express with him yet but I do want to see it. Also agree that pre-writing the posts makes it easier and I did some of that this year but not enough. Congrats on finishing!

    1. Suchet is Poirot! Come back after you see Murder on the Orient Express and let me know if you enjoyed it. I'm curious.

  2. Dena, Craig here.

Thank you for all the effort you put into last month. I hope you do it again, I always need a good excuse to drag out all of the useless stuff I have crammed in the nooks and crannies of my brain.

Hope blogger gets their comment section straightened out. I am signed on to Google and it still throws me this bone.

    1. You have an extraordinary amount of not-useless stuff in your head! I'll start again with my national days posts next Monday. You can dump more stuff out of your head =)

  3. I read your posts on the Operation Awesome Blog Dena. They were well written. I know, right? Keep them ready, already. I thought I was safe because I'd written mine till 'M'. Next time I'll start with Z, X and Y and get those out of the way.

  6. That is such a great IDEA to do a theme with previous year's posts. I feel like such a loser for not visiting so many great bloggers. BUT in retrospect I am finding them in the reflections and now if I can push myself to road trip and check out all these cool blogs I missed through the month of April. I certainly do intend to do it again next year. I love this challenge. I hope to post more throughout the year as well.

    CONGRATULATIONS for completing.

    Cheers,

  7. I participated, and won! Yay for us! But I didn't visit as many as I'd planned. Like many others, life caught up with me and I had to choose: visit, or write? I didn't have a coherent theme this year, so my month was a blend of personal posts and flash fiction. I will be back next year! Congrats on winning!
