New year, new resolutions

Last week:
December 28, 1954 – Denzel Washington
December 30, 1975 – Tiger Woods
December 30, 1984 – LeBron James
December 31, 1943 – John Denver
December 31, 1959 – Val Kilmer

Not sure what I want to do on the blog for 2025 but let's look at an appropriate quote for the new year.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” — Reinhold Niebuhr

Do you still make new year resolutions? I do, and I've been mostly successful in completing mine each year. Since 2023 I've lost 65 pounds, exercise daily, and eat more healthy. As you make your resolutions for 2025, here are some to consider:

Famous birthdays week #52

Last week:
December 18, 1964 – Brad Pitt
December 21, 1957 – Ray Romano

Last year we looked at major world events that occurred each week. For 2024 let's look at birthdays of famous people for each week of the year.

For this week [through the end of the year], we have:

December 28, 1954

#1
December 30, 1975

#2
December 30, 1984

#3
December 31, 1943

#4
December 31, 1959

#5
Your task is to guess who each person is. To avoid spoiling it for people who come after you, do NOT put the person's name in the comments! Instead, write something about that person. For example, if your guess for person #1 is “Joe Biden”, write something like “#1 - current US president” in the comments. Don't use the name.

Good luck!
