This is my fourth year participating in the A to Z Challenge. I found out about the challenge two days before April 2015 [Ack! Mad rush to write 26 posts!] from Colin D. Smith, who writes really good flash fiction. Everyone head on over to his blog and check out his A to Z posts.
Another great blogger who participates in the Challenge is John Davis Frain. Last year for the Challenge, he killed himself 26 times. Fortunately he has more lives that a cat. Please head on over to his blog and see if he's still alive.
My challenge themes so far:
2015 – Definitions of legal terms
2016 – Definitions of military terms
2017 – Supreme Court cases that changed life in the US
2018 – ?????
As you may have noticed, the pattern is legal => military => legal, so that means this year is ...
=> military
This year I'm expanding a little on military definitions. They will be more like military encyclopedia entries.
A is for ASVAB. Do you know what ASVAB stands for? What it's used for? Which branches of the military use it? Is it a weapon? A battle maneuver? Just another obnoxious acronym? Visit my blog on April 1 to find out if you're right!

Awww... thanks for the shout-out, Dena! I'm glad you're doing this again. I've enjoyed your past-years' posts, and this year's will, no doubt, be just as fun and informative. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope it is. I'm looking forward to yours too. And you're completely insane for the timing you've chosen for deciding your letters LOL
DeleteI remember your challange last year, it was so informative.
ReplyDeleteYou're on the fourth challange. Me too. There seem to be so many people that started to take part in the challenge the same year as us.
Can't wait to see what you'll come up with.

The Old Shelter - Theme Reveal - Weimar Germany
Thanks! Your theme of 1920s Weimar Germany sounds fascinating. I didn't even know it had a name! Good luck with the challenge.
DeleteLooking forward to your posts, Dena. I always enjoy the difference between US and Oz military.
ReplyDeleteI have enough trouble keeping up with the US military. Would be interesting to learn how it's different from Oz. Maybe you can do a challenge on that theme in the future LOL!
DeleteLovely to see you doing the challenge again. Good luck
