National Days/Weeks #3

Last week's photos:
Feb 7        National Wave all your Fingers at your Neighbors Day
Feb 9        National Pizza Day

Each week on Monday I'll post two photos which represent a "national day" or "national week" for the coming week [through the following Sunday].  Your job is to figure out which national day or week is depicted in each photo.

Here are the photos for this week.  What national day or week does each represent?  Even if you aren't 100% sure, make your best guess!  Come back next week to see if you're right.

  1. Not sure what the ferris wheel is showing for Feb 14, obviously not Valentine's Day or International Library Lovers' Day, which it is... maybe LED light day?

    The first image... candle week?

  2. Gawd, I remember the stuff in No. 1 from the horrid days of my early youth. It was considered an acceptable holiday dessert. They had special molds for that FD+C colored sugar concoction.

    National Jello Day

    2) It seems an odd time of year to celebrate Ferris wheels; 80-90 percent of them are closed for winter.

    National Ferris Wheel day.

I hope you are still on the mend, Dena

Almost at 100%, but still have a few percentage points to go. Thanks for asking.
