National Days/Weeks #33

Last week's photos:
October 18 – Chocolate Cupcake Day
October 21 – Reptile Awareness Day

Each week on Monday I'll post two photos which represent a "national day" or "national week" for the coming week [through the following Sunday].  Your job is to figure out which national day or week is depicted in each photo.

Here are the photos for this week.  What national day or week does each represent?  Even if you're not 100% sure, make your best guess!  Come back next week to see if you're right.

October 26

October 29

  1. Ah, for the simple days. When October 26 was a day to carve the national Pumpkin day object and make a pie out of the pulp, before pumpkin spice took over the world.

October 29: Cat day! I'll pet our three and maybe feed them too.

    1. MAYBE feed them? Presumably if you don't, a cat-loving member of your household will complete that task. =)

  2. Just kidding, if I didn't feed them, they would eat my toes while I sleep.

    1. LOL - a friend woke up every morning at 4am to get to work. When she retired her cats still woke her up at 4am. Lesson - never feed animals early in the morning!
