Last year we looked at obscure holidays. This year, let’s look at major world events that occurred each week.  Make your best guess in the comments as to the years of each event.  No googling!

Week #44

October 30, ____ - The War of the Worlds radio broadcast, depicting a Martian invasion of New Jersey, panicked millions of Americans who thought it was real.

October 31, ____ - Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of Wittenberg's palace church.

  1. It has been too long, but I was unable to dig into the library folds of my mind for quite a while. Missed you bunches.

    1) Orson Wells scared the pants off of America in 1938.

    2) The original "Woke" person. I have to admit that I looked this up recently for an Op-ED I wrote denouncing our Governor Ronnie as an intellectual vampire for going against true history: 1517

    3) The fruits of writing sci-fi lie in me knowing San Juan Capistrano was built in 1517

    4) Sci-fi writing again, with a little horror thrown in. Laika was launched in 1957

    1. I've missed you too!

3 out of 4. Not bad at all.

Hope your transition to winter is going well. It's still hot in FL in winter right? Just not as unbearable?
