P is for Protests

This year for the A-to-Z Challenge, I'll be looking at major events that happened in 2020 [the year we would all like to forget, so let's look at it first, before flushing it down the toilet].

Welcome to P!  We're looking at – PROTESTS.

Beginning in late May 2020 when a Black man died because of the actions of a white police officer, people across the US have been protesting in favor of Black Lives Matter and against police brutality.  Many protests have been peaceful, but some have become violent, including looting and arson.

Were you involved in any protests?

Here's a teaser for tomorrow, letter Q:

  1. I protested at the polls, I was quarantined for the protest I wanted to support. There is a lot that can needs to be protested, and I support most of them.

My protest at the polls was successful, my side won. Regretfully the other side can't figure it out, just like their cognition of the Affordable Care Act. They had 11 years to make it better and couldn't.

  2. I am with Craig above. When the protests were at their highest so were the covid numbers. My protest was at the polls.

Thankfully I can also say my candidates won.

  5. I'm not a big one for going to protests. I've been to one in my life (when I was at uni) because my lecturers urged us to. I figured I should be seen so went and felt uncomfortable the whole time (I left pretty soon).

    1. That's me too. I drove by a few and honked my horn, but that's about all.
