Welcome to T! We're looking at – TOILET PAPER.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what would you want to have with you?

Surviving on a desert island
As it turns out, if you're stranded in the comfort of your own home, the first thing on everyone's list is TOILET PAPER!
What did you hoard during quarantine?
Here's a teaser for tomorrow, letter U:
The unintended consequence of chatting with grocery folk allowed me to supply six other friends with toilet paper and some paper towels during that crisis.
ReplyDeleteYou are a great friend!
DeleteToilet paper is one of my topics for today, natch.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike!
DeleteTo this day, I still don't get it - why did everyone decide this was the one thing they needed!

It was like everyone forgot that this is a respiratory virus, not gastrointestinal!
DeleteFor the 2nd lockdown it was flour. This, I understand better! People baked a lot, cooking with kids too.
ReplyDeleteFlour is MUCH more understandable than toilet paper!
DeleteAh yes, Australia's contribution to the covid pandemic, prompt the world to stockpile toilet paper. We were caught out and had a few harrowing weeks where we had to ration squares. But I now have a 24 pack no-one is allowed to use...just in case!
ReplyDeleteWe now have two cases in our garage. We don't want to have to ration. "Harrowing" doesn't even begin to cover it!
DeleteI was amazed that toilet paper was in such short supply. I still occasionally find it hard to get.
ReplyDeleteWith our second wave [or was that the third?] in November, we had trouble finding it again also. Fortunately that only lasted 3-4 weeks.
